Tulloch was given the name Bitsie when she began to act. She continued using this until 2017 when she changed to Elizabeth. When I introduce new people, Bitsie is still the title I prefer to use. But it sort of worked at the time I was in my mid-20s and I was just beginning my acting career. Now that I'm in my 30s I'm beginning to want to return to Elizabeth due to billing issues. It was a film I was making but it hadn't thought of it. After we had completed your legal papers We noticed that it was Elizabeth. What do you think about this billing method? Then I called my manager and agent to ask their opinion. The time has come to age. It's adorable that Bitsie's name. It's adorable. Was it all that was really? This isn't like introducing myself to you as Elizabeth right now. The name is only for billing purposes going forward. Tulloch comes from Scottish and Spanish heritage. Tulloch said that her main spoken language is Spanish, although she doesn't consider herself fluent. The family of her paternal grandmother is from Renfrewshire as is her grandfather's family. Both came from the region around Kirkwall as well as Scotland. In an interview on BBC News she reported that it is believed that the first Tulloch moved to the US around 1880 and the Kerrs arrived in the early 1900s.
